It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved colleague, Davina Hurrell, who left us in October. Davina joined the Nordens family in 2018, bringing with her a contagious smile and unmatched dedication to her work. Shortly after joining us, Davina faced a breast cancer diagnosis, and from then on, she exemplified resilience and hope, continuing to inspire us daily. She remained committed to work even during her most difficult treatments, sharing laughs, wisdom, and an unwavering love for life.
In January 2020, Davina returned to the office with her signature humour, embracing her “normal” in a way only she could. Even after being diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in 2022, Davina focused on what mattered to her most: making memories with loved ones, dancing, and enjoying each day.
To our clients, you will know Davina as the big smile you saw when you came to visit us in the office, and the warm chat you had while you waited for your meeting. For us, she was an essential and hugely loved part of our family.
To honour Davina’s courage and her dedication to others affected by breast cancer, we are participating in a walk to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now. We invite everyone to join us or contribute to the cause Davina bravely championed.
