Before working with the Nordens Cloud team, Forma's payment and approval processes were heavily manual. Staff and supplier payments required significant director involvement, with approvals handled largely by hand. When the business lost its bookkeeper, those responsibilities did not disappear. They landed squarely on the director.

It was unsustainable. The director needed a solution that would remove him from the operational detail of payment processing and give the business a more efficient, automated way of working.

Nordens worked with Forma across two key tools to transform how they handled their financial processes:

• Dext. Forma were already on Dext but were not making full use of it. Nordens walked the team through the approval functionality, showing them how to get far more out of the platform and significantly reduce the manual effort involved in uploading invoices and receipts.
• Telleroo. Nordens introduced Forma to Telleroo to help them unlock automation within payment processing and take advantage of its security functionality. Payments can now be reviewed and approved by the director without him needing to manually log into the bank and make transfers himself. Telleroo also auto-updates Xero, making it far easier for the team to reconcile payments and keep their books accurate.

Together, these improvements gave Forma a much more efficient and secure way of operating, with less reliance on any one person and far less manual input across the board.
