Salary Band: £16,000-£21,000 DOE

Nordens Chartered Accountants is a fast-growing, award-winning accountancy firm committed to providing exceptional accounting and advisory services to our clients. As we embark on an exciting phase of growth, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Junior Audit Accountant to join our team. 

Reporting to the Head of Audit, the Junior Audit Accountant will attend clients’ companies and audit financial statements, assess accounts for accuracy and regulatory compliance, investigate internal systems, explain audit findings and provide support and recommend solutions.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Work with manager to plan effective auditing processes
  • Audit financial statements and assess accounts for accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Systemise internal systems to remove inefficiencies
  • Assess risk management tactics
  • Report systematic errors or fraud indicators
  • Investigate specific issues regulatory bodies bring forward
  • Explain audit findings and recommend solutions
  • Explain products and services to new and existing clients
  • Create and maintain constructive and positive relationships with clients.
